Tyranny has it coming.

We were honored to partner with MGM+ to design the key art campaign for their hit new series, Robin Hood. This gritty, realistic reimagining of the iconic legend transports viewers to the verdant forests of Sherwood and the intimidating citadels at Nottingham. The show presents a fully tangible world filled with love, loss, life and death, and it was our mission to bring all of the emotion, lore, action and drama to life.

Anchoring it all are our four leads – Robin Hood, Marian, the Sheriff of Nottingham, Queen Eleanor – who take the center stage in a key art campaign designed to capture the epic scope of the show, emphasizing the grand scale of the sets and stakes. We designed several pieces of art, each intending to highlight a different aspect of Robin Hood:

• The teaser art brought us into the dangerous and mysterious woods of Sherwood Forest, with only a single torch lighting the way.
• Two pieces of modular art separated the Heroes and Villains of the story, each placing them in their character-specific environments.
• The hero art unified the entire narrative, bringing our four leads together in front of a sprawling backdrop featuring the epic war between the native Saxons (led by Rob) and the Norman invaders.
