The Fantastic Four: First Steps transports audiences to a retro-futuristic world of infinite possibilities, exciting wonders, and marvelous heroes. The theatrical campaign was devised to amplify the film's unique world (or Earth-828, for the diehard fans) with custom art pieces which felt like they leapt off the screen—or page.

Evoking the art stylings of Saul Bass and classic magazine advertisements of the 1960s, this campaign teased the character iconography and the legacy of the franchise through subtle, layered visuals and Easter egg-laden copy, capturing the essence of the film.

The goal of this campaign was to completely immerse fans in the colors, textures, and sensibilities of The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ world. At the conception of every piece, the question was asked, "What would it be like if The Fantastic Four ACTUALLY existed? How would our world change around them?" The result was a series of pieces that ran the gamut from the distinct stylings of Saul Bass ("what if Saul Bass designed art for The Fantastic Four?") to in-universe ads of the main four promoting apparel and cosmetics.
